Got up around 6:30 a.m., fixed the bedroom, poured tomato juice with lime and ice, smoked a little cigar, went to the bathroom, changed the desktop background image, checked computer settings, updated the disk tracker, and started today’s journal. Washed, dressed, and got ready to leave.
Breakfast, Tamales and Coffee. Went to: Laundry USA, Carolina Street, did a double load of laundry and purchased quarters, total cost $10; Mission Valley Library Branch, 610 Yarbrough Street, returned and checked out items noted on the Library Materials Data Base; and Yucca Park for a walk.
Cleaned Bath and Kitchen, swept the floors, and ironed clothes. CD, Il Complesso Barocco, ‘motezuma,’ Disc 1. Prepared produce for Cheeseburger Dinner. Went to the Lowe’s Big 8 Supermarket, 1025 N. Carolina, purchased Hamburger Buns, and Potato Chips.
Aunt Delfina, Cousin Margarita, and their friends Anna, and Rita, came by around 2:30 p.m. Served sodas, still not sure if they will hamburgers with us. Left about 3:45 p.m., after an interesting production about soda’s and Cheeseburgers. Dinner, finally, Green Chili Cheeseburger, Potato Chips, and Soda. Washed Dishes and picked up the kitchen.
Made a Collage, ‘Russia, Lake, Snow, and Peace.’ Showered. Ripped onto the Windows Media Player and copied to the Expansion Drive: CD, Fred Wesley & The Swing ‘N Jazz All Stars, ‘It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing;’ CD, ‘Dedication Wayne Wallace;’ and CD, Buck Owens: 21 #1 Hits, ‘The Ultimate Collection.’
DVD, Mad Men, Season Four, Episode 3, ‘The Good News.’ Also watched the Special Feature “How to Succeed in Business Draper Style,’ segment.
